My passion is capturing memories for those who love to create memories. I started doing photography in 2017. I have appreciated the art and hard work that goes behind creating something so beautiful. Growing up with a family who depended on photos to capture the most exciting part of our lives, obsessed with creating memories that would last a lifetime.
In 2017 I started doing photography and video for a summer camp. Every summer for four years I focused on growing my experience with a camera. I learned to use two different types of cameras in various types of environments. My friends are in a local band, I was able to photograph their live shows. That was a huge sandbox for my creativity. I started to be tasked with important events to capture, my sister's quinceañera was my first huge event. Being able to enjoy capturing my sister and family all together was just a joy in itself! My first wedding booked was a big leap into this industry, I was able to experience the stress but no doubt joy that comes with being a part of a wedding, especially capturing one. Through photographs, you can experience moments of happiness, giving you a new way to see yourself and your loved ones.
When I create a picture that embraces a moment, a story, a picture that you can spot the different emotions of individuals, I find my joy. When it comes to photography you are looking to create a memory that by looking at it opens a flood gate of different memories and emotions.
This is easily my favorite photo that I have ever captured. You feel the excitement and joy of a new marriage and life together. The sun and shade co-working together to create beautiful lighting.
Hoping on a trend is the best thing for this photo. As nostalgia is at an all-time high, people are craving the days of dad's cheesy clothes and film camera quality images. We try to capture the height of nostalgia by Goodwill shopping and replicating Kodak Ektar 100 film camera style photo.
Want a perfect surprise proposal? Do a photoshoot ghost trend...she will never know it's coming! He had a perfect idea to have them both sit alone for one photo. Once it was her turn "he left" got on one knee and waited for her it see what was happening.
As we grow in popularity, in whatever way, we need to always come back to one key component that makes us the best human we can be. Love.
